«My art is a physical manifestation of personal feelings and experiences, inspired by cultural heritage and contemporary changes to collective consciousness. The work exists as a lens on complex psychological processes that occur not only with me but also within contemporary society, like living in the Anthropocene, awareness of death, seeking the myth of beauty and identity. In my practice I try to move away from clearly planned processes and allow intuition, spontaneity, destruction, and failure to act as tools for discovering the implicit knowledge lying below my conscious self.»
