Nadia Frolova
Nadia Frolova with a backgraund in design and fine arts, earned an MFA in Glass and Ceramics, Art and Science from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon in 2022. Since 2021, she has showcased her work in several group exhibitions in Lisbon, including the CraftHub Exhibition: Investigating Craft Practices Across Europe (FCT-NOVA, Lisbon, 2023); Circles (Aveiro International Ceramic Art Biennial, 2022); and Amplitude (Solar dos Zagallos Museum, Lisbon, 2024). Her practice focuses on the language of dreams and the mythology of transformation. She aims to create forms that have the quality of things born, not made. Forms evoke a sense of motion and breathing in the static ceramics.
